Personal Statement
When I think of Football, I replay each play in my head, my heart pounding because it has never been so full before. This sport has done a lot for me by teaching me different ways to test my knowledge, be more competitive, but most importantly improve my leadership on and off the field. That’s one thing that motivates me. I have volunteered as an assistant for teams younger in lower grades to help them grow and give them support as others did for me. I am lucky to have had such a great support system behind me, in my journey. My family is always there helping me train off the field. One of my biggest supporters, was my grandmother. During the times I find myself struggling, it’s her voice that I hear that lifts me up. When I am playing, I am in my own utopia, away from life’s worries, bullies, and because I get to be my own hero.
