Austin Johnson '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi!  I am Austin Johnson. I am 6'1/2" tall, weigh 195 lbs., and I consider myself to be an athletic, focused, and outgoing person.  I am quick (4.55 - 40 Meters), agile (4.28 - Shuttle Run), and I combine those two abilities with endurance (50.28 - 400 Meters).  I maintain a high level of physical fitness year-round.  I hit hard, run hard and work hard no matter what the circumstances.  I am in shape to play every minute of every game - while performing at the highest level from beginning to end.  Throughout my high school football career, I have played both sides of the ball - and I have received numerous state, regional, and local awards and recognition for being very productive on the field while doing so.   I have played football for nine years, and I simply love the game.  I have been a starter on my high school football team as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior.  I carry a 3.64 cumulative GPA, and I am registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center.

As a result of my performance during this season as a Senior, I have earned the following awards:

* All-State Selection (RB) * All-Area 1st Team - Offense (RB) * League Offensive Player of the Year (RB)

I am seeking the best combination of a quality education and athletic opportunity for my post-secondary schooling.  I am open to geographic location, and I have a very strong desire to play college football.  I am working hard in the classroom, on the field, and in the gym, to accomplish this goal.
