Personal Statement
Hard work, honesty, helping others, and family - these are my values in sports, academics, and life. I have been described as a leader, not only dedicated to my teammates and my coaches, but also in academics, pushing myself and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. I am a 3 sport athlete (football, rugby, and basketball), but honestly, I have loved football since I can remember. When I was young, I wasn't playing video games, I was researching/studying X's & O's online! Not only do I love the physical aspect of football, but I respect and appreciate the cerebral aspect. I am known for my field vision/sports IQ, good hands, working for every yard, blocking angles, coachability, and lifting my teammates up. My goals, since the age of 3, have been to 1) play college football and 2) become a doctor. These goals still hold true and are what I drive towards every day.
"I never lose. I either win or I learn." - Nelson Mandella...it's always been about winning or learning.
