Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations as a student is to major in criminal justice. I have always been interested in becoming an investigator, and so that would be my goal as a student, and to also stay on top of all my work to maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher. As a student, I also want to be represented as a role model on campus for not only staying on top of things as a student, but also as an athlete. I want young recruits and students looking up to me as an example of what a student-athlete really looks like. As a Junior in high school, I currently have a 3.7 GPA while taking AP classes, and an advanced math class which is meant for seniors. As an athlete, I will be heading into my third year of playing varsity football. I have started on varsity ever since my Sophomore year, and this upcoming year I will be one of our team captains. As a Sophomore I won "South Sound Football Camp Champ" after going up against some of the top in-state Junior and Senior linemen in board-drills. What makes me different from other recruits is that I am constantly wanting to learn how to get better at what I'm doing, whether its in the classroom or on the field. I am always wanting to get better, and so I spend most my time either staying after school for academics, or staying longer on the field or in the gym. Getting the opportunity to play college football has been my dream ever since I started playing football in 5th grade. I am blessed to be given this opportunity of getting my name out there for colleges to recruit me. I will do my best as a student-athlete to prepare for these next couple of years.
