Personal Statement

My Name is DeWayne Scott and I am going to be a senior on the Rogers Rams football team. I love music and have a great time playing football. My season last year was good although I got a slight injury that disabled me for a few games. Even though I only had a 6 game season my stats were pretty great. I had around 55 tackles with 4 interceptions with 4 forced fumbles. Besides athletic ability, I also carry a 3.8 GPA and am looking to do great things  with my life. I have worked very hard this off season to get better, last year at the end of the season I was 195 pounds and with three months of hard work I am now 210 pounds along with a 6'2 frame. Therefore, if there is anything to be said about me, I am definately the hardest worker on the field. Also because of my hard work my team noticed me as a defensive captain and as a first year junior I called the defensive huddle. Most of all, it is my dream to play sports at the college level and I know I have what it takes to get there. I want to attend a big school mostly because i want to go to med school and need a good school to fullfill that vision. I want to go to school in any part of the United States mainly for my curiosity to see the world and I want college to be my first step in that direction. Finally, my athletic goals for college are to play at the highest level my abilities will take me, also make the biggest impact on whatever team i go the best that I possibly can. All in all, any coach that takes a chance on me will not regret their decision. Thank you and have a Blessed day.
