I was 8 years old when I ran my first track meet and that day forward I desired to pursue this sport. I’m a dedicated athlete with a goal to run track at the college level. Any challenge that comes my way, I accept it as a mission. I learn the techniques with a passion to accomplish my mission. Every track meet I learn something new. For example, when I watch a video of myself driving my feet I know either I got up too early or didn’t drive enough.
I train with a program called Rise Academy and they help with speed, agility and starts. I am a leader on and off the field. I lead by setting a good example to teammates and people who are around me. A good leader stays disciplined and faithful. Outside of school I’m training in martial arts
I am working really hard to keep my grades up because school academics are more important than sports. My goal is to be higher than a 3.0. I want to study computer science in college because my hobby is creating and playing video games.
I want to go to college to accomplish my dreams and goals which includes academics and track and field. I know college will help me reach my full potential. I want to have a good future for myself and be proud of the man I will become.
