Akim Bess-Woods '19 Recruiting Profile

I'm a team player, good sport, and very competitive. I appreciate the challenge of football and the rush it gives me, and on the flip side, appreciate the community and friendships I build from football with both coaches and players alike.  Academics are very important to me. I work hard, I train hard, and when I experience challenges, I'm not afraid to communicate with my teachers.

My football related goal is to make D1 college and eventually enter the pro leagues, but I have to start somewhere. I know and acknowledge that I'm currently not on D1 level, but with the right coaching and experience I will be soon enough. I want to work my way up the chart, and will appreciate anything that comes my way. Whether it's a D3 school, NAIA, or Junior College, I am grateful for all offers that come my way.

I am very dedicated to my team, to my school, and my family. Whether on the sidelines, or in game, I'm always focused, and will do whatever it takes to make sure my fellow teammates and I give 100% on and off the field.
