Personal Statement
My name is Silas Moreau. I am a high school football player from the class of 2021. I attend O'Dea High School in Seattle, WA. O'Dea has a rich athletic history and has played in the last three state championships and won the State Championship in 2017. This year I am starting at long snapper and have gotten time at center and defensive end. My Sophomore year I started the season on the JV and worked my way onto the field as the starting long snapper. I also played back up center in a few games. The highlight was playing in the state championship game and I am very proud to have been the long snapper on a punt that tied the state record. It was a high pressure situation where we were deep in our own territory. Some of my history and goals:
- I have been playing football since third grade in the Bellevue WA jr. program including one championship and two second place finishes.
- Football has taught me the value of hard work and importance of teamwork.
- I am interested in finding a University where I can get a great education and play football.
- I believe my teammates and coaches would describe me as uplifting, and dedicated.
- What makes me unique is my selfless approach on the field.
