I fell in love with football when I was in first grade. I actually started playing football when I was in third grade. The game has changed my life, and made me a better person. Through football, I have learned the importance of dedication, leadership, and discipline. High school leadership has really impacted me and taught me how to help motivate others as well. When I am on the line, I push my teammates and together we play better, which "ups" my own game. Football has taught me that I have something special. I can motivate my teammates and get everyone ready to play in practically no time while being a great teammate. I also can knock my teammate or opponent down and pick them up, as well as congratulate them for their great play. Another one of my good qualities is having an instinct for the field and the game. I have a strong on-field football IQ. I have a pretty good idea on what the play is going to be purely based on the situation. Because of this, I then can plan my attack on my opponent.
During these times of Covid-19 , it has been really frustrating and tough, because I have not been able to have a season. This is also a disappointment due to the fact that I don't have any updated film to show my improvements. Despite these hard times, I have made the best of them and have been achieving really good grades, as well as working to get faster and stronger for when I get my next chance to perform. I have been working out hard at the u district doing speed workouts as well as workouts and technique drills in socially distanced football practices. These times have also sparked moments for me to volunteer and help out my community. I have participated in a food drive to help out my North Central High School families. Participating in the food drive has been one way for me to in-cooperate and improve my leadership skills while being there for others. I am also in the process of co-planning some fund raising events to help support the Ronald McDonald House which provides housing for families during their child's cancer treatments.
My ultimate goal is to make my life the most successful and fun it can be. I strive to get great grades and be on the honor roll the rest of my life in schooling. My goal is to go to college and am interested in graduating with my MBA and doing something in business.
