My name is Jack Opitz, I am a 5'10" Sophomore from Olympia, Washington. I am a starting wide receiver on the Charles Wright Academy Tarriers football team, and I have been since I came in as a freshman. This year I earned an honorable mention in my 1A conference. My GPA right now is around 3.5 and I am working hard to raise it. I am pursuing a university with great academics in the business and finance fields.
Football has always been a big part of my life and I want to make sure that it stays a part of it. I became interested in football when I was 4, and I always loved to watch the seahawks games with my family and they were always a big part of our weekends and still are. I started playing football during the spring of my 8th-grade year, and love playing the sport more and more every day. During the offseason, I work out and practice on average of 5 times a week to prepare for my upcoming season.
Throughout these past 2 years of playing football, I believe my characteristics of leadership and determination have emerged. I imagine I can become a great asset by bringing theses characteristics to any collegiate roster. For the future, I will continue to work on my quickness, skill, and efficiency in all aspects of my game. It is my goal to get better every day.
