My long term aspiration is to play football in the NFL. Football is my passion and has been part of my life since I was 8 years old. Football impacted my life not only physically but also mentally. It helps me to stay focused and to avoid distractions. Being mentally tough is what separates the good players from the great players. I will also want to become a sports medicine specialist. I would love to be in a position to help others. Becoming a sports medicine specialist will give me the opportunity to work with active patients and help them achieve their personal best, which can be rewarding.
I am a team player and a great leader on and off the field. I'm a hard worker and versatile player. I currently play both sides of the ball as an Offensive Tackle, Guard and Defensive Tackle. During my sophomore year, I was one of the few JV players selected to move up to Varsity and become a starting Tackle.
I'm very selfless and I put my team before myself so that my team as a whole is successful. Football is a lot of hard work, but the feeling of working hard for something is unbelievably rewarding. During my Freshman and Sophomore year, our team was undefeated during the regular season. Last year, I was elected as the offensive lineman of the year. As for academics, I'm working and studying hard to accomplish good grades and score high on SAT test in the hopes of fulfilling my dream as a collegiate football player.
