Personal Statement
I love the game of football! I have been playing the game since I was 8 years old and now that I am a senior I want to continue on to the next level. If a college takes a chance on me, they will not be disappointed. I am a well-rounded student with good character and a strong work ethic. I pride myself on being the first one at practice and the last one to leave. I thrive on being the leader to model every drill at practice. I am a player that does not like to lose. During my high school career, our team has only lost four games and those four loses still do not sit well with me today. I play on both sides of the ball. I play left tackle on offense and middle line-backer on defense. I am willing to play any position that will help a team be successful. I feel I get better with every practice and every game is better than the last. I have the passion and commitment to continue to grow and be the best that I can be.
Education is very important to me. While in college, I plan to major in Business Administration and one day start my own business. Currently, I am taking nine hours of college courses in preparation for my college education. In my free time, I work with children ages 5 - 12 years old at our local church. I am on staff at "Kidz Camp" for one week each summer in Gore, VA. I am also a counselor at Mountaineer Boys' State which is a leadership camp for boys. I guarantee that I will be an ASSET to any team that chooses to recruit me. I look forward to seeing you on the field!
