I'm David Gaydosz. I am 5'11 195 pound ATH//DB/Return Specialist, and punter from Ona, West Virginia.
Although I am listed as RB on most recruiting boards which is my primary position, I have the versatility and ability to play multiple positions. On the field I play all skill positions. Over last summer I attended some major Division 1 Camps being timed at a 4.49 40 yard dash and a consistent 3.9 20 yard pro shuttle. I love football and have been playing since I was 7 years old. I participated over the summer in a Nike Sparq combine ranking 29th out of 1,265 participants and 12th overall in my class. I am also in our Teams 1,000 pound club consisting of 3 cores (bench, squat, and power clean.) I was invited to the US Army All-America Combine, Under Armour All-America Combine, and also the USMC Junior Rank All-American Combine. I also received an official invite to represent TeamUSA in 2013 world championships.
I also played on our basketball team which was the #8 team in the state sharing time at the PG and SG positions earning our Defense and Hustle and Heart honor for our team. It has been a dream of mine to play Division 1 collegiate football, and have made this my goal. My athletic and my high academic skills along with my work ethic, team player, coachable, leadership and desire are traits that will benefit a program at the next level in a positive manner for a collegiate football program. I would like to attend a program that can utilize my talents and challenge me to reach my full potential on the field and in the classroom and also help me grow and develop. I want to be a part of a winning program and attend a university that gives me the opportunity to play the game that I love. I understand the importance of balance between academics and athletics which is why I maintain a 3.6 GPA. My athletic goals are to become a starter and to have a postivie impact on a high-level collegiate football program.
I will give 100% commitment to a university as a student athlete by challenging myself on a day to day basis that is willing to invest on me as a "prospect." I will commit to any college program that meets my objectives and provides me the opportunity to grow and develop as a person on and off the field and is willing to put faith in me. Thank you.-David Gaydosz 2013
