Michael Owen '21 Recruiting Profile

Football has been something that has fascinated me since I can remember. I grew up a Cleveland Browns fan, even though they were consistently one of the worst teams in the league. My favorite player was Peyton Hillis because of the way he ran, I always loved playing him on Madden and even messaged him on my Dad's Facebook. I am a multi sport athlete but football is my first love. I started watching it when I was 5 and playing when I was 6. My coaches always said that I had something they couldn't teach was heart and aggression. I think what makes me different then most athletes is my love and passion for my teammates and the game. I will do whatever it takes to make my team better, always play through the whistle and never take a play off. I am a hard worker and pick up concepts, plays and techniques quickly.

I would love to continue my football career while getting a degree in Education and eventually becoming a coach.
