Personal Statement
I started playing football at the age of 6 and have loved it since. When I was in the 8th grade, my brother was a junior on the high school team. This year they were undefeated, and went on to be state champion runner ups. This made me really want to be a part of this football team. I think one of the biggest influences in my life has been my coach’s son. He demonstrates to me the importance of working hard and pushing yourself to be better.
Our football team has gone through the transition of coaching staff and players changing and we have struggled. Through this I keep pushing myself to be better. It is important to me to be a leader and push others to strive to be better. Despite not having a winning season both my sophomore and junior year I was chosen for the all PVC team. My junior year I was all state honorable mention. I look forward to playing at the next level and furthering my education, and obtaining a degree in criminal justice or wildlife management. I believe I have what it takes not only athletically, but the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. I want to push myself to be the best that I can be by continuing to work in the off season. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically.
