My name is Camden Eagan and I am a student athlete at Cambridge High School in Cambridge, WI. I am a four-year varsity starter and two-year Team Captain for the Cambridge Bluejays football team. My freshman year I started all 12 games on defense at defensive end, inside linebacker, and one game at nose tackle. That same year I was the 2nd fullback in our heavy package and started at fullback in addition to starting at defensive end in our third round playoff game against Darlington. During my sophomore and junior seasons I started every game at inside linebacker and fullback. On special teams I have been the varsity long snapper my Freshman through Junior seasons, as well as the up-man, calling the blocking protections on punt team. I am a three-time 2nd team all conference inside linebacker, honorable mention fullback, 2018 Hazel Nodolf Award recipient, 2016 Defensive MVP and 2015 Hustle Award winner.
My goal is to play collegiate football, eventually making a career for myself as either a coach, scout, or commentator at the collegiate level or higher. In order to achieve my goal I have been committed to strength and conditioning training since my 8th grade year. During the offseason my sophomore year I elevated my strength and conditioning work and made the commitment to make the 2 hour round trip to NX Level in Waukesha, WI three times a week, in addition to participating in my high school's offseason program. This offseason I am continuing my training at the high school and NX Level in order to become the best athlete I can be.
Academically, my grades were not where I wanted or needed them to be after my sophomore year. Entering my junior year I dedicated myself to improving my GPA my final two years in high school. I finished my Junior year averaging a 3.0 GPA for the school year. I have improved my GPA while filling my semester course load with advanced and AP courses. I have continued with taking similar coursework my senior year. I have also worked a part-time job year round since my freshman year of high school. I have learned how to balance school, training, and work and have seen improvements in all areas.
I value integrity, honesty, and work ethic and have tried to live by these principals. I take pride on doing whatever my team needs me to do and do not worry about stats or personal awards. I will bring these values and commitment to any school that allows me to join their team. I have provided several videos on my profile page for coaches to view. The 2017 video is a combination of sophomore and junior season highlights. The 2018 videos are separated into position specific highlights as well as the first and second half of the season.
Thank you for taking time to visit my profile page and learn about me.
