Football has been my outlet. I’ve loved football my entire life. I started playing football in 7th Grade when it was first offered at my school. Every day I look forward to practice. Football just lets me forget about everything going on in my life and let’s me just go out on the field and play. No matter what’s going on, football will always lift my spirits. I’ve been grateful to be in the position I am, being led by All-State athletes showing me the way and helping me. Being on this team has shown me how it feels to be at the highest high and at the lowest low. The past 2 years we’ve fallen just barely short in the Division 4 State Champion game. Watching someone else have fun and winning the Gold Ball has motivated me. These moments, as well as the love for the game, are what makes work as hard as possible in practice and everyday in the weight room, especially in the off-season. Work ethic is a big part of my character. I never want to cut myself short whether it’s in football or in the classroom. I have pushed myself to take classes that challenge me.
