My name is Simeon Christian Newton, and I am interested in playing football at the collegiate level. I have a 4.00 GPA while taking AP, college credit, and honors courses. I also scored a 33 on my ACT (34 superscore). I played football for four years at Roncalli High School in Manitowoc, WI. I was a two year varsity starter on both sides of the ball (linebacker, left tackle/tight end) and contributed on special teams (snapper, kickoff, kick return, and occasionally kicker). I was elected a senior captain of the football team by my peers and coaches, was named Honorary Mention All-Conference in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference and was selected to the Academic All-State Team. In 2016 and 2017, I participated in the USA/NFL regional football camps and was selected to play linebacker in the national development games in Canton, Ohio. I have game film and recommendations if needed. My life has been changed by football, and I want to continue playing and eventually coach as a way of continuing in the sport I love.
