Conor Cannon '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Marquette University High School, a private Jesuit college preparatory school of 1,100 male students, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I currently have a 3.1 gpa. Marquette plays in Division 1 of the WIAA. It was state champion in football in the 2009 season. I was brought up from the junior varsity team at the end of my sophomore 2009 season and played on "special teams" during the state championship play down run to the state championship game. I am extremely interested in playing Division 1 college football at a college with a great academic reputation and football tradition. I am currently 6'1" and weigh 225 pounds. I have customarily played inside linebacker but this past year I was moved to strong side defensive end because of my team's needs. I will be returning in the Fall of 2011 to my inside linebacker position. I have exceptional speed for my position. I love football. I work very hard at conditioning and weight lifting every day. My tremendous love for the game and heart define me as an athlete, student, and person. I recently received an offer from Wofford College.
