Logan Figueroa '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3" 257 pound OL\DL from Valders Wisconsin. I compete to win every snap. The last two seasons I earned our team Lineman of the Year Award. This season I also earned First Team All Conference for O-line and D-line. In the spring of 2009 I earned third place in the 285 pound weight class at the WIAA State Wrestling Tournamnet and finished the season with a record of 42-3. This season I am pre-season ranked #1 at 285 pounds. I earned a 3.7 GPA the first QTR of this school year and have a cummulative between a 3.4 and 3.5, college prep. I have grown up on our family farm and know what work is all about. Wrestling has really helped me with line play in football. I had almost 1000 game snaps this season during 9 games. I play just as hard at the end of the game as the begining. My older Brother, Tyler, plays football for Youngstown State University as center and gaurd and my Father, Rodney, placed 10th in the Olympic Games in 1992 at 286 pounds representing Puerto Rico. He has many other world level acomplishments. I want to attend a great acedemic school with a hungry coaching staff. I want a team that sticks together through good and bad. I am not concerened with the location of the school as much as the quality. I want coaching and competition that will push me and improve my skills so I may have an opportunity to compete at the next level. Of course I want to be on the game field as soon as possible but I expect to earn that privledge.
