I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My hope is to explore a career in Forestry and/or Conservation. On the field, I plan to be an explosive lineman and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college football career, I will strive to be an asset to the offensive line and the team as a whole. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects on my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
At 6' 7" tall, my father isn't just big guy, but also has been a big influence on my football career. He has passed on his love of the greatest sport on earth. His football career ended earlier than he would have liked, after a brief time with the CFL after college. He did not have the support of his family guiding him on his football journey. I appreciate that he has provided me with all the tools he can, to help me both on and off the field. My Dad was my youth coach, has never missed a game and continues to work out alongside me. One of the most important things he has taught me is the value of sacrifice. He has helped me see that in order to meet my potential, I need to be at the gym or on the field every day. There will always be time to meet my buddies when my work is done.
I have one of the best personal trainers in Milwaukee and in the off season I am at the gym 6 days a week with an alternative swim workout on Sundays. I am dedicated to reaching my full potential as an athlete and I look forward to continuing my football career after high school. With continued hard work, I am confident that I will make my parents, coaches and University proud.
