I've played tackle football since 4th grade, love the game and want to play at the college level. After my junior football season, I decided to go from three sports to two (football and baseball, no basketball) to focus on strength training and weight gain for my senior season. I feel I can be a better teammate, player and leader if I can achieve my senior playing goals: 210 weight, 235 bench press and 365 squats. At middle linebacker, I feel I have a natural sense to be involved in the majority of tackles. I play downhill and like hitting and contact of the sport. As Captain of the defense, I help my teammates get in the right alignment and lead by example – I play hard every down. I believe I am a smart defensive player and read offenses well. When I watch college football, it motivates me to learn more about the game. With coaches’ help and my hard work, I know I can increase my skills and be a meaningful contributor on and off the football field. I like being coached and get along with all my teammates - I've never had disciplinary issues. I will put in all the hard work necessary to play in college.
