Convincing my parents to let me play football is the single greatest thing I have done. Before my sophomore year, I was a mountain bike racer ranked in the top 5 of the state and extremely competitive. Going into my sophomore year, I committed myself to convincing Mom and Dad to let me play football, which eventually led to success. My dad has always reminded me about the importance of persistence, which I used in the world of football. Throughout my time in the sport, I have gained various skills and made countless memories that I wouldn't trade for anything.
Playing the game, I have learned the value of dedication, and leading by example. Through this same experience, I have realized that I enjoy being a mentor and helping my teammates become the best players they can be as much as I love working to improve myself. I'm looking for a program that will challenge me athletically, and be a good fit academically. I know I don't only have the physical ability needed to play college football, but also the tenacity, integrity, and relentless and positive mindset that could bring up others around me in your program. In the classroom, I have always excelled earning many academic honors, such as NHS, and scoring 5s on AP Tests due to my mindset. As a leader in both the locker room and classroom, I know that I have what it takes to be a part of your program.
