Personal Statement
I have been playing football for as long as I can remember. From the times when I would go to my brother's peewee practices, throw on some pads and a helmet and start running around playing catch with my dad, I knew that I wanted to play this sport for the rest of my life. I love the physicality of football and the fulfillment of being part of a team working hard together.
I have always worked hard to please my parents in everything that I do, and they hold me accountable for my work in the classroom just as much as my actions on the field. Bad grades or being a poor teammate have never been acceptable. Being able to have a life beyond football has always been important to my parents and I, so to achieve that goal I maintain a high GPA and volunteer my time in the community through 4-H Junior Leaders and other organizations.
Being able to play in college has been a huge aspiration of mine for a very long time, and I know it does not come without hard work. I have been working on improving myself in the weight room everyday and striving to be the fastest and strongest as I possibly can to reach my full potential as an athlete.
I want to attend a school that will push me in the classroom and on the field. I will work hard to be successful at both and will not shy away from challenges that block my path. I am open to play at any college level, but am seeking the right college at the highest competitive level attainable.
