Personal Statement
My name is Dylan Greenough-Groom. I'm a 6'2" Wide Receiver in the class of 2023 weighing 155 pounds. The first time I played contact football was 5th grade. Ever since I touched the ball I fell in love with the game. Playing throughout middle school I never saw myself going to college to play football. It was my freshman year in high school when I really wanted to improve my game. However I couldn't play until the last 4 games. I had a procedure done on my chest that prevented me from lifting over 20 pounds for 5 months. After I got released from the doctor I put my all into everything I did at practice. Trying to dominate and get better every play. In the first game I played in it was our first playoff game against Wind River. Catching a touchdown pass for 26 yards to make it 82-0 breaking the Wyoming post season record. The following summer was when I put a lot of work into my receiving skills. Working out every day to try and get bigger, stronger, and faster. My hard work paid off when my sophomore season I earned a starting spot on varsity. I am very competitive and dedicated student athlete. Everything I do I try to be the best at. On and off the field, in the classroom. Someday I would love to step on a college field and prove that I can compete at the college level.
