Personal Statement
I plan to major in a Health Sciences degree. I currently have a 3.8 GPA and take upper-level math and sciences classes. I intend to take an upper-level math class and science class as a senior.
As a junior this year, I was the leading rusher for our team and was also second in receptions and receiving yards. I had the third-most tackles for our team on defense/special teams. Lastly, I was a punt returner and served as our team’s punter for a portion of the season. I recently received 4A West All-Conference Offense At-Large Honorable Mention for the 2019 season. I also saw some playing time on varsity as a sophomore ranking third on the team in rush yards, as well as playing special teams. I feel my opportunity to play in a number of positions on offense and defense has helped me to be a team player, as well as grow my football skills.
I am also a multi-sport athlete. I am a three-year varsity wrestler for Laramie High School, including being a state placer as a freshman. I have also played varsity soccer the past two years both as a striker and defender for our team. All the activities I participate in have taught me hard work, how to work through challenging times and allow me to compete as an individual to help my teams.
