Personal Statement

I have finished my Junior year of football at Jackson Hole High School. Our team lost in the semifinals but it has inspired me to work harder in the off season. I was the starting quarterback and safety for my varsity team. I am a 5'11" 170lbs outside linebacker. I am undecided in my field of study but I am determined to get a 4 year degree at a quality university. This opportunity will allow me to make connections with people that will determine my future. My love of football and determination at getting a degree has made me set a goal of playing football at quality University.

I aspire to be a 4 year starter and get a degree at a quality university. I understand this is a lofty aspiration, but if I don't aspire to be the best I am not setting a path to success at the highest level. I live in a small town in the middle of no-where Wyoming with not much way to be seen by college recruiters, but I feel through hard work and determination I can achieve my goal.

The qualities that make me a good candidate for any team are: I'm a good team player, I learn new concepts fast, I am coachable, hard working, and determined.

I tend to be a perfectionist at athletics. I am a three sport athlete, which makes me determined to keep my GPA high. I believe that without athletics I would not be as determined to be the student I am.
