Personal Statement
I have been playing football & basketball since before I was 10 years old. I am currently a Senior at Sheridan High School a 4A school in Sheridan, WY. I am a two-sport athlete with 3 varsity letters in football along with 3 varsity letters in basketball. In football I am a two time All-Conference pick and selected as a 2020 1st team All-State.
I have been very versatile in my high school football years, playing many positions: QB, Defensive Back/OLB, Wide Receiver, Kicker and Special teams. As a Junior in 2019, I helped our team to a 10-1 football record and winning the State 4A Championship. On defense during State Championship, I forced 2 turnovers. This year 2020 with my Senior year, I played starting QB stepping up in pocket plays along with numerous others. This year, I also played starting DB/OLB forcing 4 turnovers in a limited defense snaps, producing interceptions and pass breaks.
I am 6' 3" at 195 pounds. I hold a high GPA and have been in advanced math classes throughout all my high school years. I strive to be one of the hardest working players on and off the field. I am very coachable and a quick learner. From playing multiple sports, I have developed strong ball handling skills and team leader as a good communicator.
I have been fortunate in attending some football camps prior to covid-19 times throughout my junior high and high school years (MSU Bobcat, University of Wyoming, RMC Bears, Manning Passing Academy, etc).
When I am not on the field or court, I am an avid hunter, enjoy fishing and the outdoors. I volunteer at the local senior center during my summer months to help deliver senior meals. I have also volunteered my time the last four summers to help setup the community pancake breakfast downtown. I have held a full time summer job since my Sophomore year in high school.
