Grayson Buchmeyer '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Grayson. I'm 16 and my lifelong goal is to make it to the NBA. I know that is a huge goal, but I believe nothing is impossible if you work hard enough. One thing that might make me stand out from other recruits is that I am a team player, I realize that basketball is not all about one person and that it is NOT a selfish sport. I make sure that I can be the best version of myself so that I can provide to my team the best chances of winning. I am very disciplined and coachable, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make myself a better player and contribute all that I can to my team.  Now basketball is my passion, but I do realize that schoolwork is a key component to life and to getting recruited in colleges. When I go to school, I have the mindset of doing my work and getting the best grades possible, I try to stay focused and not joke around and be a class clown because I know it has severe consequences and can affect my grades.
