I am a 6'0" Shooting Guard from Pelham, AL. I started on the Oak Mountain freshman basketball team and, as Team Captain, I led them in scoring at 15 points per game. I just transferred to Pelham High School. have a 3.2 GPA and plan to take the ACT this fall.
I am looking for an school in the South where I can be a success in academics and athletics. I would like to join a university with an strong Pre-Physical Therapy program that will allow me to be successful in a graduate program. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where my skills could be of immediate help to a team as we compete against the best other schools have to offer. I believe my best fit would be at the DII or NAIA level, although I will definitely consider high academic DIII opportunities.
I can contribute to a team because, although I am a solid shooter, I believe in being a good defender. I want my defense to be a solid as my shooting. I’m strong for my size and I enjoy guarding larger perimeter players. I’ve also proven that I can make big shots under pressure. I am a good teammate and communicator on and off the basketball floor.
When it comes to growing as a young man, I really enjoy being coached. I work hard to learn from my mistakes to become a better basketball player and a better person in life. And when challenges continue to come up, I have no problem talking to a coach, trainer or tutor to make me a better student and a better basketball player.
