My name is James Elijah DeVaughn IV, but I go by Eli, including Hudl. I take pride in my discipline and determination to be my best in all I do - faith, life, school, and basketball. It's been a process, but I no longer apologize for being at the top of my class or the last one to leave the gym.
I aspire to attend a smaller college where I can excel in academics (I'd like to be a HS Math teacher, coach, and youth ministry) and dream of playing college basketball! I respect my coaches and teammates and always strive to be a team player. Every player has a role, and for teams to be successful, each player needs to train to be their best in all aspects of their game.
I make 250 makes, from 9 spots, five times per week. I also shoot 50 FT minimum five times per week. I know that muscle memory is key to my shooting success.
I dream of adding value to a college basketball program! I'm coachable and try never to be outworked!
