Garrett Wilson '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Garrett Wilson a 5’7" guard from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This year I played on the Holy Spirit Catholic high school varsity basketball team as a Sophmore. In addition to my high school team, I have the privilege of playing on the Nike Elite Stars team this season. In school, I strive to challenge myself with Honors classes and currently have a 3.4 GPA. At this point in time, I have not taken the ACT or SAT. However, we plan to begin preparation for that test in the months ahead.

Currently, we are preparing for my future by identifying a school that I can make positive contributions to in athletics, community, and campus life. My vision is to partner with a school, a team, and a coach that can help make a better future for myself and the world.  I’ve always enjoyed being on a team, and being necessary to my teammates. So, a good team environment is important. One thing you can count on always from me is that I will bring a hard- working attitude, grit, and determination to be the best we can be as a team. I have a passion for the game of basketball that keeps me in the gym every day and I aim to pursue a career in coaching when I can no longer play.
