Trenton Ambrose '18 Recruiting Profile

Growing up in a small village in Alaska, college scouts coming here never happens. It has always been a dream of mine to be the first one in my family to go to college, get an education, and play basketball. I'm a student athlete that works equally hard in the classroom, as on the court. With basketball, I'm a hard worker, a leader, very coachable, and a great teammate to be around. I always try my best to make the team better in any way, whether it be encouragement to teammates, or scoring a much needed bucket, or playing lockdown defense to seal a win. Take a chance on me, I won't let you down. During the 2018-2019 year, I signed to play for Ave Maria University in Florida After a season, I came back to Alaska to work and help my family, with intentions on going back to school And playing the sport I love. After a year due to Covid, that dream was shut down. Through the lockdown, and the year following, I have stayed in shape, and continued developing my skills. Last year I went to Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. I did not play on the team, but continued my training & won 2nd in men’s intermurals, leading as a captain with my key players out. I am now 23 looking for a school to enhance in anyway, and continue my higher education. Thank you for your time.
