Eric Perkins '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. I can’t remember a time when I was not driven to play ball.  On the court, I am a strong team leader and an even stronger team player. Making those around me better players has made me the player I am today.  Through playing basketball, I have learned to be disciplined, patient, and that games are won when you work together as a team. 

Off the court, I excel in school and have a passion for learning. Before entering high school, I had earned 5 high school credits in Math, English, and Biology. I am preparing to have an Associate Degree in Sports Medicine upon my high school graduation. Another passion I possess is working within the Special Education Department.  I have been a Teacher's Assistant for 1.5 years in the Middle School SPED Class. I can not express how rewarding it has been and the relationships I have built with these students have been life changing. 

I want to attend college where I can contribute and eventually lead a team of like minded athletes. I plan to continue my studies in Sports Medicine and Special Education while dominating on the court.
