Dominic Cruz '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was 4 years old. My love for the sport began when I stepped on the court, and now it has become my aspiration to reach the collegiate level.  I have strong ball handling skills, a high basketball IQ and a strong team leader. I encourage my teammates and always look for the opportunity to bring my teammates up to the same level. I am coachable, competitive, and known to be one of the most dedicated and hardest working players. 

I have a strong support system at home with sports and studies. Off the court, I work to maintain a high GPA at a private Catholic High School. I volunteer in my community and assist with the coaching of our younger teams. 

The question in my home since I can remember is "Which college am I going to? " not "will I go to college?" Therefore, I want to attend college to push myself to attain my Bachelors degree with a major in science.  I also want to be able to continue my love for basketball. I am open to all options and want to find the college that matches my aspirations. I want to make my mother proud and have her know that her hard work has paid off.
