Tashun Wells '24 Recruiting Profile

I have played basketball since I was 5 years old and I have gained a lot of knowledge to perfect my skill over time. A major factor in my accomplishments is playing AAU basketball as well as Jr. High and High School basketball as a point guard. I was a part of winning nationals while playing under the E.N.G. AAU basketball team, at the Reebok Series in Lawrence, KS in July 2021. I have also played for Mafia and 3:16 AAU teams as well as the All Arkansas Red Circuit team. I attended a basketball camp at the University of Arkansas, Monticello, and Radford University back in the summer of 2022 and this has influenced me greatly in pursuing my goal to play basketball at the college level. I have overcome many obstacles in my endeavors to move further in this field of athletics due to my stature; however, I continue to push myself past my limits and never give up when it comes to believing in what I can achieve. I am very agile, possess quick reflexes, being focused, and rely on my coach training to steer me when I'm on the court and this continues to be my go-to form of play when I'm in the paint. I look forward to meeting new athletes and coaches on this journey and know that this will help me complete my end goal of becoming a top-tier basketball player.
