Aaron Brown ‘14 Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

My name is Aaron Brown.  I am a senior at Pangburn High School.  I grew up in a basketball family, so I have been surrounded with basketball my entire life.  When I was younger, I wasn't very tall for my age group, so I played primarily point guard and occasionally shooting guard.  But between my sophomore and senior years I grew from 6'0 to 6'5.  So I believe I have exceptional coordination, outstanding ball handling, and very good court vision.  My family moved to a smaller community my junior year, so I transferred schools for my senior season.  At Pangburn High School I play all 5 positions, but primarily I play shooting guard.  I have had limited AAU experience due to my father being a pastor, and the difficulty of making weekend games and practices.  However, I believe that I have the athletic skill set to play at the collegiate level.

My dream is to play basketball on the next level.  I have work very hard, but with more hard work and effort, my basketball ability will grow tremendously.  Not only do I want to play basketball in college, I also would like to be pushed academically in the classroom.  I plan to major in either Business Management or Sales and Marketing.
