James McGuire '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is James McGuire and I'm a class of 2025 athlete looking to take my game to the post secondary level. I have a deep post bag with a soft touch around the rim. I prefer to play under the net creating off of dump down and post up opportunities but am very capable of playing from the high post and around the three point line as well. One thing that separates me from others is that I love to set on and off ball screen as I like to open up the floor and create opportunities for my teammates to get open. On and off the court I am a great teammate who is always positive and willing to put the team first  In addition, I have great relationships with my teammates and coaches. I pride myself in the classroom as someone who takes pride in their academics and is always respectful and exited to learn as I know the importance as an athlete to be productive not only on the court but in the classroom as well.
