It has always been a goal of mine like many others to play at the next level. I know that nothing will ever be handed to me and I accept and let that push me past others that feel that they have privilege. I live in a small town and it has always resulted in teams underestimating what we can do and I believe that passion and hard work has gotten me past teams of that nature. I’ve been raised by a family of teachers and have been taught that school is the most important priority and I take pride in doing excellent in it. I’ve found myself in an area of my own when it comes to balancing academics with athletics whether It be working on homework in the bus for road games or doing before practice as well.
