Hello my name is John Edgar and I am a Senior at Ayala High School in Chino Hills California. I am passionate about the sport of basketball and started on varsity this 2014-2015 season. I am a shooting guard and am comfortable playing the point, as well as small forward. The honors I received this season include all league honors and CIF second team as a junior. As a Senior I have received MVP of our league, 2 time SoCal Prep player of the week , Player of the year for CIF Division 2 and the John R. Wooden award for Division 2. I am a team player and have a drive to win. I am a high percentage shooter with 3-point and mid-range game. I can drive to the basket and a strong rebounder. My work ethic includes working out 5-6 days a week. The most important thing about me is that I am coachable and always wiling to improve my game. I am successful in the classroom as well.
