BENJAMIN GRUNDY S...Personal Statement
I aspire to be a collegiate athlete to continue to compete in a sport I love; furthermore, I want to take advantage of a great college education to advance myself into a stable working environment. I am a good candidate for a college basketball program because I have good time management skills that have allowed me to play sports as well as perform well in school. I have assumed leadership roles on Freshman and JV level basketball teams which show I am not afraid to take on responsibility. I consider myself to be academically distinguished because of my hard working attitude. I do not settle for being less than my best which I feel has led to my success in the classroom and on the court. Because I value a good college education as well as basketball, I aspire to play college basketball.
