Junior Year Highl...Personal Statement
I started playing basketball when I was five years old. Ever since I first stepped on the court I wanted to play at the collegiate level. I have a great basketball IQ, strong ball handling skills, great defensive strategies, and a good shot. I am a great team leader and always think team first before I do something. During practice I give 100% and I lead by example while encouraging my teammates to do so as well. I help them up if they fall over and I'm always giving constructive criticism to help them get better.
While not playing basketball, I eat very healthy foods and I maintain enough protein and water each day. Also I study very hard in school and I expect myself to maintain a high GPA
I want to attend a college where I can push myself on the court and in the classroom to be the best player and student I can possibly be. I want to find the highest level of competition that I can compete with while being open minded to different colleges. My ultimate goal is to inspire my peers, play college basketball, and make my parents proud cause I love them. I currently am a Junior at South Fork high school and I’m a 3 year varsity player. I’m ready to play at any division.
