Jacob Okonowski '23 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been one of my greatest passions since I was 8 years old. When I’m not in the gym you will find me studying college and high school games online. Through the years of playing club basketball I’ve learned to really enjoy playing team basketball and helping to make my teammates better. I have not looked to play on teams with the most athletic and skilled players because my desire was to find the best training and coaching. This has given me incredible opportunities to grow in my leadership skills and has forced me to train harder than everyone else because I always have to be at the top of my game.

Outside of basketball I like to relax at the lake or ocean and fish or spend time outside with my friends. In everything I do, my desire is to glorify God through hard work and good character. With my work ethic, character, skill and leadership I believe I can make an immediate impact on your basketball program. I know the sacrifice it takes to succeed at all levels as a team.
