I am currently a freshman at UC San Diego who dreams about being on a college basketball team. Not being a part of a basketball team this year has given me a dedication to the game you won’t find elsewhere. my reflection has made me a more confident player offensively who knows what I bring to a team. I bring contagious energy that is seen through hustle plays and excitement. Being a top perimeter defender on any team I've played for, I believe that playing full court man defense and getting steals speeds up the pace which creates fatigue and turnovers. I also build relationships with all of my teammates and play for them as well as being a team first players. I have worked hard on my shot and handles which has made me a much bigger threat offensively. I play with a high effort level and IQ which allows me to play hard while being in control. But ultimately, I am a competitor who can't stand losing and just wants to work. Being in college with a 4.0 GPA, I know I can handle everything that comes with playing basketball in college. I have been underestimated my entire life but am confident I will improve your team if given the chance.
