Noah Mananzan '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1 175lb Guard out of San Diego, California. I have been playing basketball for about 10 years. My goal is to attend a college that will provide a great fit both on and off the court and achieve academic success.

My passion to get better on a daily basis is unmatched. I am very much willing to make sacrifices to better myself to be the best person and player I can be. I also value the relationships with my team and coaches. I personally think of teammates and coaches as my second family. In addition, the team can rely on me to make the right decisions as well as be there for them when the times get rough. 

I am a very coachable player who will do whatever the coach requires.I believe my willingness to sacrifice my body by diving for 50/50 balls and taking charges sets me apart from most players. I love to step up to challenges that come across me as as they arise whether in be taking a big shot or defending a tough opponent. My ability to create shots, hit shots off the catch, defend 94 feet, handle the ball well, and facilitate allows me to be a reliable, versatile, and dependable player for my team.

School has always been at the top of my priorities. I understand that the ability to play basketball is not a right, but a privilege. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout High School, and plan to keep working hard at the next level to maintain good grades. Never will I ever go hang out with friends, go to a party, or partake in any other distractions in place of getting in a workout, studying, or completing an assignment. My priority is to succeed in school as well as in basketball.
