I started my basketball journey playing for my middle school basketball team. Basketball was new to me and I had a deep love for the game from the culture off the court to battling it out on the court. High school changed everything for me now that I am about to be a 4 time high school varsity player. Playing at the varsity level while going to a very competitive, challenging school is not easy to balance. I taught myself how to be able to balance my workouts and schoolwork over the years while still excelling on the court by demonstrating my skills and leadership abilities as a captain of the varsity basketball team as a sophomore, and in the classroom being recognized by numerous colleges for my academic achievements at a highly competitive academic school. Playing for a very small high school with little to no exposure to other high schools and colleges for sports, being a leader on the team is an essential part of being able to keep the team focused on the goal which is to bring the team to its first CCS playoffs. I believe I am a great fit for any program since I am able to demonstrate my leadership, excel academically and athletically, as well as provide what is needed for any team to help reach their goals!
