Chase Braun '15 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play basketball in college. As Team Captain and Starting Point Guard, I am a goal-oriented team leader who is passionate about the game!  As my senior season comes to an end, I am proud to have surpassed my previous numbers in all stat categories, totaling almost 350 points and averaging 14 ppg, 6 rpg, 3 apg, 2 spg and 1 bpg. I have been voted to the 1st Team All League, and earned Offensive MVP for the third year in a row!

On the club level, I enjoyed much success with my 3Ball Academy AAU team. Comprised of all the best players in our community, we competed in 4 L.A.-area tournaments last April and July, and ended our season at the Las Vegas Classic tournament July 24-27th. We played hard and came up with some amazing victories, making it to the quarterfinals in our bracket. (The previous year, we competed well and ended up winning our bracket at this tournament, walking away with a silver 3rd place trophy.) While it truly was a team effort, I was proud to be one of the top three players statistically, both offensively and defensively. These are some of my fondest basketball memories that I know will last a lifetime!

I feel that I am a dedicated and competitive athlete with an intense desire to win. I believe that with my personal leadership qualities and strong work ethic, along with my versatility and effectiveness on both ends of the court, I would be a huge play maker for any college team. I look forward to any and all opportunities that may come my way. In the meantime, I will continue to focus on improving myself, both on and off the court.
