Jesus Venegas '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Jesus Venegas, I came from Mexicali, Baja California. Now, I lived in San Fernando Valley. It was tough at first for myself coming here because I couldn't speak any English, but with hard work and dedication it paid off. I go to Cesar Chavez Learning Academies. I play 3 sports, football, basketball and track. I'm really grateful for the things that I'm capable to do, because many people want to have the "American Dream" but unfortunately certain reasons couldn't do it. I came to America to help myself and my family. My biggest goal is to make it into UCLA University, it will happen if I keep working everyday. I'm persistent for the things that I been through in my life and that's how it made me the person that I am today. I wont write my whole life, it would take a long time, but I just hope some universities and coaches will give me the opportunity to play basketball and maintain my 3.8 GPA. 

PS: Over the months, I'm going to post my highlights, because I want to prove that I have skills, heart and potential to play college basketball.
