Personal Statement
My name is Nathan Wolf, and I am currently in my Senior Varsity season. I have spent 4 years at Foothill High School growing as a player and as an individual. I find myself at this point proud to say that I earned the title and respect that comes with being a Varsity Team Captain. Since my freshman year our program has undergone a tremendous amount of change. With each transition I adapted, playing any roll the coaches needed me to take on. I played and represented myself to the best of my abilities. Continuing to be the strongest player on the court, as well as, the strongest rebounder for my size. Each season earning that coveted starting spot and receiving achievement awards from my coaches and fellow players.
Like any organization in transition there were hurdles to cross. Life threw some curve balls as well. In 2018 my father was diagnosed with cancer. While basketball became a source of strength and support for me it also became good medicine for my family. Regardless the situation I give my team and my family 150%.
This final season of my high school career we have a young team. It’s my honor to be a senior member and help guide the next generation of our players. I look forward to playing basketball at a College or University. My goal is to earn a master’s degree in Business Administration. In addition to this, I have also developed an interest in Kinesiology and Sports Training. This could possibly be a new direction for my educational goals. Either way it would be my dream to continue basketball on a higher level of play. To be a part of a solid team and lend my abilities and passion for the game to a winning collegiate program would be a dream come true.
