Personal Statement
A few of my collegiate goals are to attend a great college or university and graduate with a doctoral degree in aerospace engineering. Other goals that I have in mind are to join clubs within the school to meet new people and know my community around the school that I attend. One main goal that I have is to get accepted into a school with a great basketball program. Some of my aspirations are to continue playing basketball through college. I want to make my parents proud of my accomplishments as a basketball player and athlete. I have a desire to be a student-athlete who can achieve anything on and off the court. I make the right candidate for your team because I bring a positive attitude to all my coaches and teammates. When things are not going well, I motivate my teammates to stay focused on basketball and forget their previous mistake. I like getting to know all my teammates to gain their confidence and build our chemistry for basketball. I always try my best during drills, and I have a passion for basketball that allows me to want to learn more so that I can improve. I love winning and am looking forward to a great season with all my coaches and teammates. I am different than other recruiters in character because If I make a mistake, I do not let it affect me at that time. I know that I cannot go back in time and change it anymore, so I continue playing and remember not to make the same mistake. I can control my self during games and not get heated to cause any technical fouls. If something in my favor does not go well, I do not yell at my teammates or try to start any fights with opponents. I am a well-rounded individual that can understand different perspectives and not argue with others in basketball or outside of it. I am different than others in academics because I can maintain a 4.2 GPA with excellent grades with basketball in my life.
